Application deadline: Thursday August 15th, 2024 at 11:59PM(CST)
Eligibility: Applicants must be college students within the United States during the Fall 2024 semester.
There are NO GPA requirements.
You do NOT have to be a U.S. Citizen.
You do NOT have to be a full time student.
There are 3 steps for a candidate to be fully considered.
Step 1) Fill out the 2 min primary application form
Step 2) Upload your secondary form sent to your email with supplemental documents to the pcloud link
Step 3) Schedule an interview via calendly
Applications will require some personal and financial information as well as verification documents.
All primary applications will be reviewed and subsequent final candidates will be interviewed.
Scholarship recipients will be notified and awarded prior to the start of the semester, pending completion of all interviews.
Recipients will be required to complete 10 hours of community service during the semester they receive the scholarship and must meet with career mentors once a month for guidance and progress check-ins.
Fall 2024 Prompt:
1. Identify a Problem: Describe a problem—whether from the past, present, or a foreseeable future—that you care about deeply. Explain why this problem matters to you and its significance.
2. Actions Taken: Detail the steps you have taken to become familiar with and address this problem. Discuss whether it has been resolved, remains ongoing, or if a solution is still being sought.
3. Impact and Learning: Reflect on the impacts of the problem and your efforts to resolve it. What have you learned from your involvement, and how has it shaped your goals and aspirations?
4. Future Contributions: Describe how you plan to continue contributing towards the resolution of this problem. How will this scholarship support your efforts and further your ability to create change?
Prompt responses can be submitted in creative formats outside of traditional essays such as drawings, photography, recorded speech, etc.
